Important to note: Although the Starlink cable conforms to RJ45 standards, we do not recommend modifying your cable or combining it with another cable to add length as we cannot guarantee the quality of service. Additionally, the Starlink cable provides a water-resistant protective seal with a locking mechanism, and is power rated specifically to the Starlink kit, therefore we do not recommend using any third-party cables as it may cause water damage to your Starlink.

Any damages to your Starlink kit caused by the above may void your Starlink warranty. Use at your own risk. We advise you to check out the Starlink shop for additional cable length options that might be better suited for your Starlink setup.

High Performance Starlink & Flat High Performance Starlink

• We do not recommend adding any extensions, as we cannot guarantee the same quality of service. If you do opt for an extension from the router, our recommendation would be a Cat5E cable or above.

Cable Routing

• The cable routing kit and masonry routing kit provide the hardware necessary to pass the Starlink cable through most walls, and are available for purchase on the Starlink shop once your Starlink kit is ready to ship. Before you order, you can preview items in the Starlink accessories guide.

• Note: Damages to the cable could impact your quality of service so be sure your cables remain free of kinks, debris, or door-jambs. The cable is not rated to be buried or under water.
