In December 2025, Starlink began issuing free replacement power cables to customers with Performance (Gen 3) kits and/or Advanced Power Supply Units. The replacement included a printed notice, which is available below in supported languages.
You are receiving this package because you own one or more Generation 3 Performance Kits that may contain AC and/or DC power cables for your Advanced Power Supply Unit that do not meet our quality standards. During routine assurance testing, we identified a potential quality issue with these power cables that could impact performance.
To ensure continued product reliability, please install the replacement AC or DC cables included in this package for each affected Advanced Power Supply Unit on your account.
The Advanced Power Supply Unit was tested and qualified to IPx8 water ingress protection. However, due to the identified potential issue, affected units may be more susceptible to water ingress if submerged or exposed to powerful water jets. As required by the regulatory notice provided with your kit, if the Advanced Power Supply Unit is used in wet locations, ensure the power cable is plugged into a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) or Residual Current Device (RCD) equipped AC outlet.
Please remove and dispose of the existing cable(s) in accordance with local e-waste recycling requirements.
