To purchase Starlink mesh for your home network, log into your acount and visit the Starlink Shop.
In some homes, the wireless coverage of a single WiFi router may not be enough to cover the entire area. This leads to poor performance in uncovered areas. A Starlink mesh network is designed to expand the wireless coverage of your house by placing Starlink mesh routers between your main router and the area with poor coverage. The Starlink mesh routers should be placed 1-2 rooms apart from the primary router for the strongest wireless coverage.
It is not recommended to use more than 3 Starlink mesh routers. Areas larger than 6000 square feet may not be fully covered with Starlink mesh, and you may want to pursue a third-party mesh system.
Important Notes:
- The Starlink mesh routers can be purchased as a replacement router for a damaged router of the same type.
- The Gen 3 router is currently only available on the Starlink shop in select markets.
- Gen 1 routers do not support mesh.

Compatibility- The Starlink Mesh WiFi Router cannot be used to form a mesh network with the Gen 1 or any third-party modems, routers, or mesh nodes.
- The Starlink mesh WiFi router is compatible with Gen 2 and Gen 3 router.
- You can use a Starlink ethernet adapter to connect other devices to the Starlink mesh WiFi router.
- If the Gen 2 is the main router and the Gen 3 is the mesh node, you can create a wired mesh network by connecting the Starlink ethernet adapter on the Gen 2 to the WAN port on the left side of the Gen 3 router using an ethernet cable.
