What is the Check WiFi Range App tool?

• The purpose of the Check WiFi Range tool is to create a visualization of WiFi signal strength throughout your home. In the areas of weaker signal, you may want to consider purchasing a Starlink Mesh Router to help wirelessly extend your network.

How do I use the Check WiFi Range tool?

• Navigate to the Starlink App home page > Network tab > Check WiFi Range. Walk around your home to measure signal strength. Press “View Results” to view a summary of signal strength around your home. 

• Note: This tool requires App version 2.0.28 or later, as well as camera permissions.

Does the Check WiFi Range tool work with third-party routers?

• No, since the Starlink router tells the app what your devices signal strength is, the Check WiFi Range tool is only compatible with the Starlink router.
