For customers in Jamaica and The Bahamas impacted by Hurricane Melissa, Starlink provided free service through the end of November 2025. This applied to active, suspended, and new customers in the affected areas.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, Starlink supported recovery and relief efforts across Jamaica. During this period, Starlink usage rapidly increased as donated kits and new customer activations came online. This temporary surge in demand can impact speeds, particularly during peak usage hours. We are working to expand capacity in the region to keep up with the exceptional demand and improve service as quickly as possible.
