What is the Starlink “Residential” service plan?


Starlink Residential is for personal or household-use at a fixed, land-based location in select areas. The Residential service plan includes an unlimited amount of “Residential” data. See the Starlink Specifications for details on the typical performance.

With the Starlink "Residential" Service Plan:

  • There are no data caps and no speed caps.
  • Speeds should range from 100 - 270 Mbps.
  • Typical upload speeds should range from 10 - 25 Mbps.

Limitations

  • Residential service plan users do not have the ability to opt-in to purchase Priority Data.
  • Residential service plan does not allow for in-motion use even with the use of Starlink Performance, Starlink Performance (Gen 2), Starlink Standard or Starlink Mini.
