I cannot get online during initial setup.


Ensure you have followed all of the setup steps in the Starlink App:

  1. Find a clear view of the sky. Use your mobile device and find "Check for Obstructions" tool on the Starlink app (iOS, Android) to identify the most optimal install location that will deliver the best service.

  2. Plug Starlink into power and verify everything is securely connected. To find specific installation guidance for your Starlink kit, check below for resources such as setup guides, accessory guides, specs guides and installation videos.

  1. Once your Starlink is powered on it may take up to 30 minutes to get online. If you connect to Starlink Wifi but still offline after 30 minutes then please reboot the equipment. Click on the status message on the Starlink App and follow the guidance.

  2. Factory Reset the Starlink router if you are not able to connect to Wifi.


If you're unable to get online or are suddenly offline, you can call 1-866-606-5103 in the US or 1-888-864-1321 in Canada for phone support. This service is currently in a trial phase and is only for Starlink customers in the U.S. and Canada who are dealing with connection issues. For other concerns, please submit a Starlink ticket. The phone line is open Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time.
