Yes! Flat High Performance, Standard, and Mini are all approved for in-motion use. Choose between two service plans based on how often you’ll be at sea:

For occasional coastal trips: Choose the Roam Unlimited service plan. Roam Unlimited is primarily intended for land use (including inland waterways and marinas), but allows short-term coastal coverage (up to 12 nautical miles from shore). To connect on the ocean, you must opt-in to Global Priority data through your account portal, billed per GB. Note: Ocean and coastal use is limited to 5 consecutive days and 60 days total per year.

For frequent ocean use: Go with the Global Priority service plan. Global Priority enables our fastest speeds and works seamlessly on land, coastal waters, and international waters. You can purchase data in customizable blocks depending on your needs. For details, see Starlink Maritime.

Note: Customers using an actuated Starlink dish that contains motors (ex. Standard Actuated Starlink, High Performance Starlink) while in motion do so at their own risk as they are not designed for in-motion use; equipment falling onto the road or off a vessel due to poor installation practices can cause serious accidents resulting in bodily injury or damage to property.
